BETTER Compliance Ltd legal notices and terms & conditions

The following constitute the terms and conditions to which applicants agree when booking any BETTER Compliance Ltd e-learning courses including RASPFLO (Terms and Conditions).
BETTER Compliance Ltd reserves the right to review and update these periodically.

Registration and Booking

1.Registration with the BETTER Compliance Ltd (creating an account)

Before you book onto a e-learning course we require you to register to create an account and provide certain information about yourself. In doing this, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form.

2. Booking a group training or e-learning course

E -learning courses can be booked via the booking forms available on the RASPFLO website. You need to be registered with the BETTER Compliance Ltd before you as you will be required to log in or create your account to.
When you submit a booking for an online course, your submission represents an offer to BETTER Compliance Ltd to book you onto the course you selected. On submission of the training course or e-learning course form you will receive an automated summary email of your selection and instructions on how to proceed with your chosen course.

3. Prices, discounts and sales taxes/VAT

Notice of new pricing will be given in advance, but the BETTER Compliance Ltd reserves the right to change prices listed without notice.

4. Payment

Fees must be paid Direct Debit or Credit card at the point of booking via our secure online payment process.

We can invoice for fees, or accept payment by instalments by arrangement and agreement in advance.
All major credit and debit cards are accepted. A receipt will be sent to you by email from Worldpay confirming payment. Worldpay will receive the information needed to verify and authorise your payment card and to process your order and is under strict legal and control not to disclose this information to third parties.

Please note that if you do not provide accurate details (including type of card and number) or if your credit card company does not authorise payment, your application will be deemed void. BETTER COMPLIANCE LTD will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this manner.
Tax (VAT) is charged at the applicable rates laid down in law, currently at 20%.

5. Prevailing terms and conditions

Please note that this and all other BETTER Compliance Ltd pre-contractual documentation shall not constitute an offer. All services provided by BETTER Compliance Ltd are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and if you wish to engage any BETTER Compliance Ltd services we shall only provide them if you accept the Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage BETTER Compliance Ltd on your own terms and conditions then we shall only accept your offer subject to the Terms and Conditions, which shall, if we provide the services you offer to engage, prevail over any other terms and conditions.

6. BETTER Compliance Ltd e-learning courses

Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the site to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including, but not limited to, changes in technology, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements. By continuing to use this site you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.

7. Ownership and intellectual property rights

All learning materials are owned by the BETTER Compliance Ltd. All intellectual property rights in all materials available from the Better Compliance (including RASPFLO), including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all online training, webinars and podcasts, are owned by BETTER Compliance Ltd.

When you are given access to the online system, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Better Compliance materials. No Better Compliance content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without the BETTER Compliance Ltd prior permission and you may not allow anyone else outside of your organisation via your log-in details. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the BETTER ComplianceLtd’s intellectual property rights.

8. Technology

BETTER Compliance Ltd does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions.

9. Liability

BETTER Compliance Ltd does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its training courses, including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of the BETTER Compliance Ltd. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.

10. Cancellation of an E Learning Course

If you notify BETTER Compliance Ltd in writing (by email or post) that you wish to cancel your contract not less than 28 days before the start date of a course, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Refunds will be processed with 28 days of receiving your request via bank transfer to the original payer.

Annual contracts are automatically renewed unless otherwise stated in writing not less than 28 days before the start date of the new contract.

After an annual contract has been renewed for the second year onwards it may be cancelled at any time with 28 days’ notice.

11. Transferring your place on an E learning course

Once you have booked an e-learning course or package the booking is non-transferrable unless agreed with BETTER Compliance Ltd.

12. Privacy policy

BETTER Compliance Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy and security. Whenever you provide personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy, current UK Data Protection legislation and Internet best practice.
