Welcome to RASPFLO, Responsible Alcohol Service and Promoting the Four Licensing Objectives

The aim of this course is to teach you how to be responsible with your alcohol service and how to promote the four licensing objectives.

We will provide you with information that blends useful skills, legal and social responsibility and best practice in order to achieve the responsible service of alcohol within the hospitality and retail industries. It will also help you to understand the importance of the four licensing objectives and how you can promote them in your role.

We will:

Explain how licensing works (The Licensing Act 2003)
Help you understand what the four licensing objectives are and their importance
Understand the role you play in promoting the four licensing objectives
Promote responsible alcohol consumption through responsible alcohol service
Give you the knowledge and skills to prevent service to minors and visibly intoxicated persons
Give you practice in checking ID and stopping service to visibly intoxicated persons
Understand the importance of preserving a crime scene following a serious incident
All members of staff within the hospitality and retail industries need to appreciate and understand their responsibilities relating to alcohol to know how alcohol affects the body and be aware of the risks associated with alcohol consumption.
